    That’s an eloquent document. It’s unfortunate that so many people were impacted by the shutdown. Fortunately, a great many of these public employees will be reimbursed for the time off, and many of the contracting agencies to the government are authorized to file for unemployment for the furlough, making a great deal of the discomfort only temporary…

    I am a big fan of President Obama. Shutdown was a scary news but our president successfully managed to sail us through difficult times. The way he reached to VA and wrote the letter, I just understood how humble he is.

    Congrats to VA team for successfully resuming to their work. All the best folks :)

    If Obama and his crew would have actually sat down and negotiated we most likely would not have seen the governement shut down. Government is way too big. Too many freebies are given to the paristies that believe my government should provide everything to them from cradle to grave. Free phones with many dollars being scamed from the taxpayers? and it goes on and on.
