Today’s #VeteranOfTheyDay is Army Colonel Edward G. Haggett.
Edward’s long career started in 1961 at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Over the next 27 years, he would serve at 611th Ammo Company, Picatinny Arsenal, Seneca Army Depot, Fort Monroe, Armed Forces Staff College and more.
He also served in Vietnam.
Edward retired in 1988 as Commandant of Ordnance Missile and Munitions Center at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
He is celebrating his 80th birthday this week.
