Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Marine Corps Veteran Gloria Garcia.

Gloria joined the Marine Corps in 1991. She served as a motor transport operator driving 5-ton vehicles in Camp Johnson, North Carolina.

During her service she was awarded the National Defense and Rifle Marksman Medals.

After leaving the service she studied at International School of Ministry and God’s Living Words Ministries, where she received her credentials as Pastor and Doctorate of Divinity.

She has since worked as Safety Technician for 10 years with Conoco Phillips, and currently devotes her life to Light For Every Nation Ministry and has conducted missionary work in the United States, and Central and South America.

Gloria is active in many volunteer organizations, including the VFW and Women Veterans of the Coastal Bend.

Thank you for your service, Gloria.
