Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Alexander Heaton.

Alex served in the Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010 as a 0351 Infantry Assault Marine.

He served three tours in Iraq. He had the responsibility of helping set up and instruct at the first Iraqi School of Infantry following the capture of Saddam Hussein.

Alex has earned a BA in History from University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Masters in International Development from American University School of International Service.
