Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Vietnam War Veteran Ross A. Miller.
Ross served as a Gunner’s Mate in the Navy from 1968 to 1973. His awards include the Vietnam Service Medal and Navy Achievement Medal.
Since leaving the Navy, Ross continues to be dedicated to community service and serving his fellow Veterans. He is currently the General Manager for a company that is contracted by the Veterans Affairs California Health Care System. His company is engaged in providing housing assistance to homeless Veterans and other services such as substance abuse mentoring.
His passion for his work is evident to those who personally know him. His friends describe him as an “unstoppable” force with a “big heart” who genuinely cares about the Veterans living in the residential homes he manages.
Thank you for your service, Ross!
