Did you know there’s an easy way to find information about VA benefits?

Explore.VA.gov provides an overview of all VA benefits and connects you with everything you need in order to apply. There are also tools, such as the Benefits Navigator, where you can answer a few questions and receive a list of benefits that may be a fit.

“Veterans may be eligible for things they had no idea they were eligible for,” said Kim, an Army National Guard Veteran.

On Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. EDT, join VA for a Facebook Live event that will show you how to use Explore.VA.gov to research your VA benefits.

During the live video, learn how to use Explore.VA.gov to look up your VA benefits and listen as other Veterans share their experiences. Register for the event and receive event notifications by visiting Explore.VA.gov/events.

This event is part of the “#ExploreVA: From Service to Success” online event series highlighting how Veterans and their families are using VA benefits. VA benefits help Veterans earn degrees, start careers, buy homes, stay healthy and more. For information on events, useful resources and to learn how to apply for VA benefits, visit Explore.VA.gov.

To Veterans who reads this call your Representative and your Senators asked them to contact the Senate Side and the House Side of the Veteran Affairs Committee passed a New Disabled Veterans Benefit Law who is collected 100 percent service connected definitely need to have G4implants by a Cosmetic Dentistry Dentist because their is not one works for a Veteran Medical Center plus their isn’t not one has a contract with Veteran Affairs Admistratation but they have a Private Clinics know how to put in G4implants unfortunately they want all the money upfront but my belief as a Veteran myself the money should come From the Federal Government so the Disabled Veterans who is collected 100 percent service connected definitely need to have G4implants get the G4implants for free because three quarters of the Disabled Veterans who is Disabled Veterans who is collected 100 percent service connected can’t even afford to get a loan to get the G4implants…..Thanks….Semper Fi I can’t do it alone plus Spread my belief.

I really do pray that some from the Director office hears what I have to say.( Mr Bowers) I’m advocating for my 77 year old uncle Harold whom is a disabled veteran ..He went to the Navy to serve his Country; HOWEVER they …Va denied him of.his in home serves which he desperately needs so badly..He only asking for va to assistance with some one to come in the home twice a week; in which he qualifies for.;I really don’t understand how could he be denied of this service .We’ve made every attempt to request.for these services through the proper channels, including; coming directly to your office. It absolutely outrageous that no one seems to respond to any complaints or any suggestions made by consumers like my uncle Harold as a Veteran his opinion doesn’t matter or get resolved anyway .Inclusion to matter…Im his advocate ; and his life does matter, So ; I must keep advocating until his story changes and its not his story but every Veterans that has been denied his /her services…benefits that has been Well overdue….sincely Advocating for his life….Tami

We finally have a President that cares about the vets and vet programs. He needs to see these comments and those from today’s video conference!

i agree with one of the bloggers, the charlotte health care center is very slow in getting treatment and adequate help for veterans, it like they don’t care, lots of improvement needed

How do I begin claim on front teeth that were broken while in service. Non-duty injury. How do I get my
Military Dental records. Injury is well documented. Teeth have never given me a problem until now.

I am proud and happy to say my husband and I, both veterans, and our friends ALL get excellent service at our VA. If it wasn’t for the VA, we could not afford medical treatment. I like to focus on our improvements. Things are improving and changing. Voice your concern to your doctors and keep speaking up for all veterans. Thank you VA. Moving forward…

Ocala, Florida VA Clinic is a disaster. They need to get rid of the dead wood doctors that don’t provide proper professional care to veterans. A BIG DISGRACE!!!!

Vietnam Veteran can’t get help with compensation. No Pension, no nothing. I need a lawyer but I can’t afford one. GA Bar said they would help me, Mr. Zoller, but that was a lie. He sent me off to some that fooled me into thinking they would help me. Zoller and this other guy are really working together to blow Vets off.

  13. Charles Talley August 18, 2017 at 22:49

Wow …..I wish I worked for the VA. I could do anything I wanted to do and never loose my job. These VA reps tell the Veterans whatever they want to hear and then just hang up. No follow ups to really see if someone has been helped with their problem. VA compensation is held up or denied on a whim.

  14. Charles Talley August 18, 2017 at 22:35

I am a Vietnam Vet and I am in my own fight with the VA. I wish I could help but I

can’t and the VA has no accountibility. They just do anything they want and get away

with it. Right or Wrong it doesn’t matter to them. Charles Talley

    Need help

  16. Robert M Fennewald August 18, 2017 at 12:40

Having to wait 5 weeks after testing and X-rays is a nightmare. I still have to have my own family Dr along with VA. Meds are a joke. I pay the bill and they send back the money then the next month send me a overdue notice. Telling me they are going to take my
Disability money until it’s paid. No where to turn.

No one at the top responds to our problems we write about. What’s it going to take for Shulkin to respond ?

Las vegas hospital beautiful but has a rating of being able to help 10,000 patients and they have 30,000 patients they are trying to take care of. Poor planning. I hear many people leaving prosthetics because of B.S. they have to endure. Go pefhe….!

I recently had back surgery (fusion). In 1972/1973 time frame, I injured my back (service connected, rated at zero percent with my retirement physical). With perhaps no documentation, can I file a claim to increase my disability?
