Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Air Force Veteran Beck H. Gee. Beck served from 1942 to 1946 as a photographer.
Beck completed Air Force photography school before being transferred to Colorado Springs for overseas training. In 1943, he was sent to England, followed by France and Germany with the 9th Air Force.
A major project Beck completed was creating 9,000 fake passports for 3,000 Air Force paratroopers who would be flying into enemy territory. After his service, Beck got his general education diploma and received an art degree from the University of Houston. He worked in advertising for 35 years before retiring.
