At VA, our top priority is our Veterans, and everything we do aims to ensure they receive the care they need, when they need it. That’s why we’re rolling out a plan to expand our telehealth services to every VA hospital nationwide.

In collaboration with the White House’s Office of Innovation, we’ve developed a new virtual service app, which connects Veterans with doctors from over 50 specialties with a focus on mental health services. It gives more Veterans greater access to care, especially those living in rural areas or otherwise have difficulty getting to medical facilities for treatment. The video tool launched in early August and is offered by 300 medical providers at 67 VA hospitals and clinics. VA will also develop a communications plan to teach patients how to use the new tool and will provide ongoing support.

VA strives to implement cutting-edge technology to better serve our Veterans. Now, you have an opportunity to join us in our mission to deliver world-class care to all the men and women who’ve served. To find out how you can help us heal our Veterans, visit VA online and apply for a position today.

“World Class Care”, huh! You have got to be kidding me, right ?
I estimate that say 75% of the veterans I have spoken to over the past 12 years have laughed at that statement.
