Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Orvil Mann. Orvil served during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953.

Orvil served with the Charlie Company, 72nd Tank Battalion. On May 18, 1951, he was wounded in action. His rank at the end of the war was E8, master sergeant. For his service, Orvil received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

After his time in the Army, he ran a business in Mooresville, Missouri, until his death in March 2017.

We honor his service.
