Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Air Force Veteran Chris Rolph.
Chris served in the Air Force for five years as a C130J Loadmaster. He was stationed in Rammstein, Germany, and spent time in parts of Africa including Niger, Nigeria, Algeria, Chad, Senegal, Djibouti and Libya. During his service, he was recognized as Senior Airman Below the Zone and Airman of the Quarter.
After leaving the Air Force, Chris pursued his degree at Queens University of Charlotte and is currently the president of his Veteran group on campus. Yesterday, at the Student Veterans of America National Conference, he was honored as Student Veteran of the Year.
In an interview before the announcement, Chris said, “I’m just flattered someone would nominate me for such an honor.”
Thank you for your service, Chris!
