Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Richard “Barry” Caulfield. Barry served in World War II and the Korean War.
Barry served with the Military Police in the 772nd MP Battalion, Eighth Army during World War II. He worked as a prison guard after the war and returned to the Army once the Korean War started. While in Korea, Barry self-treated a minor wound from a shell. He now lives in Little Silver, New Jersey and will celebrate his 90th birthday this April.
