Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Roy Hawthorne, Sr.
Roy enlisted in the Marine Corps when he was 17.
He served as a Navajo Code Talker with the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.
Roy died Saturday. He was 92.
We honor his service.
