2018 Partnership for Public Service survey ranks VA among the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government.

VA leaped to sixth place among the federal agencies with 15,000 or more employees thanks to its 64.2 employee engagement score.

“The uptick in rankings reflects the experiences of many career professionals who work at VA: It’s rewarding to serve alongside skilled professionals who put Veterans at the center of everything they do,” said Darren Sherrard, associate director of recruitment marketing. “Although VA did not reach the top spot this year, it’s gratifying to know that more and more employees say they recommend VA as a great place to work.”

Hope attitudes have changed in the Detroit VA Facility. I switched to Ann Arbor Mi despite it being a much longer drive to get there. In Detroit workers there acted like I was inconveniencing them. Got to Ann Arbor and a complete turnaround. Will never go back.

The veterans that we deal with in our firm have mixed reviews about their dealings with the VA staff. Anything that can be done to improve this is welcome!
