Kenneth Brock, a U.S. Army Veteran, and his service dog Pam began a 2,650 mile trek across America to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Brock began his journey in Keystone Heights, Florida on Feb. 1 and plans to walk all the way to Couer d’Alene, Idaho by July 3 in time for the local Independence Day parade and to see his two children and six grandchildren.
Brock was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD and said he weighed more than 300 pounds when he received his service dog. Throughout his journey, Brock has made stops along the way too speak with students about his mission and with television station KQ2 (in the video above) about his mission.
