Calling all ear, nose and throat specialists and surgeons! VA is hiring healthcare professionals to help our nation’s Veterans find relief for ENT conditions.

Visit the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from Sept. 15-18 to talk to VA healthcare recruiters Kevin Buccola and Dave Aragon at the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) Annual Meeting & OTO Experience.

Get information and share resumes

Talk to Buccola and Aragon at VA Careers Booth 2512 to explore what it’s like to work at VA, share your contact information and learn about the benefits of a career caring for Veterans.

“We invite conference attendees to ask questions about VA’s generous benefits package, which includes premium-paid health insurance and, in certain cases, financial support with student loans,” said Darren Sherrard, Associate Director of Recruitment Marketing at VA. “ENT specialists are encouraged to provide resumes and pick up information to review and share.”

Explore a rewarding career

Held each fall, the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience provides a four-day opportunity for thousands of academy members, nonmember physicians, allied health professionals, administrators and exhibiting companies to network and share relevant industry information.

While you’re there, get more information about VA’s competitive compensation for physicians, generous leave policy and free liability coverage. As a VA physician, you may also access leadership training and higher education support through the Education Debt Reduction Program and various other scholarship opportunities.

VA also offers you the chance to work by the beach, in a city or in the countryside, and take your benefits with you. With one active U.S. license, apply for an open position at VA facilities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the Philippines.

Other perks that come with choosing a VA career as a physician include:

  • Flexible work schedules and shifts.
  • Diversity and inclusion policies and programs.
  • Low patient-provider ratios.
  • Leadership development and mentoring programs.
  • Career training and enhancement opportunities.
  • Dining options and a tax-free retail store.
  • A smoke/drug-free workplace.

I liked that you explain that working as a physician is a rewarding experience since you have the opportunity to help improve the health of your patients. I have been trying to find a meaningful career path but I haven’t been sure which direction to go in. I will be sure to consider becoming a physician so that I can work as a healer and make a difference in the community.
