- Competitive compensation. Licensed psychologists can earn around $170,000 in salary plus benefits, depending on education, training, licensure, certification and experience. You’ll also receive regular raises and increases.
- Education support. We encourage our employees to continue to grow their skills and experiences through scholarships and loan repayment, free continuing education units (CEU) credits and hours, in-person and virtual training, and leadership development.
- Insurance coverage. From liability protection to health insurance, we’ve got you covered. Choose from a variety of health plans, as well as vision, dental, group life- and long-term care insurance.

- Work-life balance. We offer flexible schedules, telework with some positions and generous time off. As a VA psychologist, you’ll enjoy 36-49 days of paid time off, 13 sick days with no accumulation limit and 10 paid federal holidays.
- You won’t have any employment contracts, noncompete clauses, restrictive covenants or other significant restrictions on outside work. Work anywhere in the nation, at one of more than 1,200 care sites, with one full and unrestricted U.S. license. Your VA benefits travel with you wherever you go.
