I’ve read that prisoners are entitled to stimulus checks and many have received them before the SSDI and V.A. recipients.

  2. A Disabled Vet Too April 22, 2021 at 18:26

I’m convinced that the IRS is holding SOME of the Veteran’s Affairs and SSDI recipients 3rd stimulus checks hoping we will die from our conditions or commit suicide from the frustration just so they won’t have to pay us. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.

  3. Kenneth Bailey April 14, 2021 at 13:31

As of April 14th 2021, I haven’t received my 3rd stimulus payment. 1st 2 came really quick. New system I guess. 1st pymt was check.2nd pymt was direct deposit, no problems. Get my payment tool no help.

    • Johnnie Martin April 15, 2021 at 06:47

My first two stimulus payments were by check. This one came by direct deposit. Maybe yours will be that way also.

    • A Disabled Veteran Too April 21, 2021 at 22:55

As of today, April 21, 2021 I have not received the 3rd stimulus check even though the IRS Get My Payment portal states I am eligible but no date yet with the correct account number, which hasn’t changed since it went live. I fall under the U.S. Veteran Affairs benefits recipients. All of my friends and family who are still employed full-time with OT received their stimulus checks immediately after the President signed off. I got the 1st 2 with no problem or delay. When you call the IRS EIP hotline, they blow smoke up your behind just to get you off the phone.

  4. Dolores Spencer April 12, 2021 at 23:30

When President Trump was in office I received my stimulus direct deposit just three days after my neighbor got hers. Now,my neighbor got her stimulus check last month, I still have not received mine. Still waiting..

  5. Alice Faye Yeager April 8, 2021 at 13:34

If I receive DIC payments will I be eligible for the 1,400 payment?

  6. A. Disabled Veteran April 8, 2021 at 04:12

10 bucks says that whoever sent out the official VA email dated March 31 2021 stating that
“IRS sending third round of stimulus payments. The IRS anticipates payments to be issued to Social Security recipients and other federal beneficiaries who do not normally file a tax return by April 7, 2021. ” got their payment.

  7. Thomas ennenga April 5, 2021 at 09:03

Well as I see it it’s pretty simple, two STIMMY checks done before no problems, new administration new problems, we vote predominantly for pro american administration’s so now we get left behind ! and to rub salt in our wound’s our new administration says no projected date given yet maybe one around the middle of april. I rather question if you served at all. TY

  8. Sad American Patriot April 3, 2021 at 19:28

Biden administration is laden with the Chumps people running things. Look at who the heads of the departments are, not Bidens people. They were against the third stimulus so now they are messing with Americans. Its the Re-puke-li-klans hurting Americans. No one else.

The traffic and molest young girls (Gaetz), lie and then blame others (Lindsey Graham, McConnell, and McCarthy). They treat Americans like we are dumb, and then try to rephrase what actually happened (trump-they were hugging and kissing the law enforcement-even some died).

The Republicans are a scourge on our nation and the weak minded fall for it. Kick em out of office and watch America start leading the world again

    • Johnnie Martin April 15, 2021 at 06:50

What a sad American Patriot you are.

I haven’t received any stimulus yet but then again I’m not surprised. God Bless all Veterans!

  10. Carlton R. Tabor April 1, 2021 at 22:20

I am a Viet Nam veteran, and have not received any of the stimulus payments. I was told that they sent the first check, but since I had moved about 10 blocks down the street, it couldn’t be delivered and had been sent back. I have since done what I was told to do to make sure the IRS had my current address. I would be willing to bet that if I didn’t file taxes this year, they would have no trouble finding me. I won’t starve if I never receive any of the stimulus payments, but I think being rated at 90% disabled should stand for something. I guess it doesn’t to those who have never heard a shot fired in anger.

Hold on Vets, stop stressing yourselves!
The IRS has to communicate with the SSA, if you’re receiving monthly payments, and the VA if you’re receiving VA benefits. Your direct deposit info, or address is already on file.
If you are recently discharged, seek help filing at any of the multitude of veteran’s organizations out there…American Legion, Vet Center, VFW, etc.
Semper Fi, from a 74 yo, Vietnam Combat Vet. You’ll get through this!!

  11. william hashkowitz April 1, 2021 at 15:51

I agree with everything you said. Except for what you said about the government stopped caring about Veterans after the Korean War, they never cared about Veterans. They have never followed through with any promises that they have ever made. Remember what WW1 Vets had to do to get what was promised to them, but not before being humiliated by the very same Army that they once served in.

  12. Timothy E Rushton April 1, 2021 at 13:02

Here in Alabama, the unemployment system is BROCKEN, as with all other states. No system was designed for this number of unemployed. In Alabama, there is NO unemployment dependents, being added now for 2 months. Myself included. Broken. PEACE

    • Aebe mac Gill April 18, 2021 at 13:36

Vets have been screwed by the Gummit in every war going back to the Revolution.

  13. Henry Fledderman April 1, 2021 at 13:02

I received the first stimulus payment but as of yet I have not received the second or third payment . My wife received the first and second but not the third. We are both on Social Security and get our SS payments automatically deposited into our checking account. Why in the world does the IRS not deposit these payments into our checking account?. I cant get any answers from IRS. Can the VA do anything to help?

We are holding .gov to your word. DD the check ,could use it to grow economy SO DO IT !!!!

  15. Melody April 1, 2021 at 10:00

Well to all who have received your stimulus checks. Good. But me, a disabled vet, have only
received the first one. That’s right. Never got the 600 or the 1400. So BS on the IRS saying they
are working with the veteran’s affair to get people their money.

    • Moises Salang April 1, 2021 at 10:16

Is a veteran who is not an american citizen qualify to recieve stimulus package?

    • PERRY WERGIN April 1, 2021 at 10:25

Hooray to all you Vets. Your Patriotism is appreciated. I am one. Many of our country’s young people seem to have no respect for The U.S. They haven’t fought to keep it free. My opinion is when they stopped the Draft it went down hill. It should have never stopped. I believe every young person should serve at least 2 years. Helps the grow up. We need to have 365/24/7 ready strong Military and the most sophisticated weapons on hand. The other countries we deal with do.
I have received my stimulus checks.

    • Gary April 1, 2021 at 10:33

I’m a 100% Wounded Warrior and SSDI recipient.
I never received not one penny. I don’t have to file taxes but I did this year and the tax forms listed I am eligible to receive a $1200 and $600 payment. Nothing about a third. I do not believe the IRS and theExecutive branch that keep saying Veterans and Social Security recipients will automatically get it, nope didn’t get anything. My advice is just file and they will see many Veterans/SSDI HAVE AN AGI OF $0.00!
      My advice is file

    • Camille Butts April 1, 2021 at 18:43

      Melody,
I didn’t receive the first or second payment in 2020. I was able to apply for the missed payments when I filed my 2020 taxes… I just got those 2 payments, along with my tax refund, today. I self-filed using Turbotax…H&R Block has the same forms. If you get your taxes done by a tax pro, s/he should know how to file the request on your behalf.

Best of luck to you!! As a veteran who served our country (as did I), you definitely deserve your funds. I hope you don’t have to wait until the next filing season (2021) to get the third stimulus payment (although, I feel what happened to me in 2020, might happen again for my third payment).

  16. Margie King for Ernest King April 1, 2021 at 09:55

My spouse did not receive either the $600 or $1400 stimulus. He receives SS and a small check from the VA monthly. The IRS in March told us a computer glitch on their end shows my husband’s # belongs to a deceased person. SS re-issued his card to fix the problem but still nothing. Any help out there to get this fixed. My husband has Alzheimer’s and we could really use this stimulus. BTW I received my deposit two nights ago.

  17. Doggy C April 1, 2021 at 09:25

We veterans had been sht on for so long and just when things were looking good for us in comes a new administration. The current administration has no clue what sacrifice is. They haven’t left there families before, after or during a holiday season. They haven’t sat in the dark surrounded by people who want to kill you wondering if you will ever see your family again. Always wondering if this time will be the last that you hold your child. So sorry for rambling on, it just hurts that we gave so much and they care so little Army Strong!

  18. Johnny April 1, 2021 at 09:01

wow, can’t believe all the idiots who didn’t actually read the words.

nowhere does it say that vets are last in line.

nowhere does it say that vets haven’t receive the stimmy yet.

i’m an oef vet and i’ve received everyone one of them, including the 1400×4 for spouse and kids in march.

all you have to do is read the words to see who this is talking about: “VA beneficiaries who do not regularly file tax returns.”

that means the millllllllions of veterans who file taxes which is probably most of you will be getting theirs soon if they haven’t already. i got mine a few days after the bill was signed. so if you don’t regularly file a tax return how TF is the IRS supposed to know to send to you? oh too easy the IRS and the VA work together to help people? SWEET. thats how it should be, morons.

here are the other words above: “The IRS continues to review data received for Veterans Affairs (VA) benefit recipients”

this doesn’t mean youre last. the only conspiracy here is that you people can’t read.

    • Patrick Wireman April 1, 2021 at 10:36

      Hey moron…

How do you figure it’s because we don’t file taxes that the IRS doesn’t know how to reach us?
We get a monthly SSDI check as well as VA disability.
So the govt knows how to get us the check.

I got the first one but not the last 2.

Oh well, we’ll see if they get it figured out.

    • Edith April 2, 2021 at 00:14

Hey sweetheart, we’re not morons. My monthly payments is no taxable I don’t have to file taxes. That is what it’s talking about really, there are many of us in that situation, so please don’t call another Veteran a moron, from one Veteran to another let’s have some respect for one another. Thank You.

    • Jeffrey Sheppard April 2, 2021 at 14:59

I think it is ridiculous that it is taking this long for the IRS to get payments out to those of us VA Beneficiaries that don’t normally file taxes. They got the first and second payments out fast. I got them within a week or so of them being announced. But I still haven’t received this one. All my info is still the same. And I would imagine that most everyone else’s is also. Due to the sacrifices we have made and the prices we paid, VA Beneficiaries and all other Veterans should always be first in line when it comes to any kind of assistance like this.

    • Rosario Burruel April 3, 2021 at 18:51

Shame on you for saying all the bullsh#t you just did. Just because you received your check doesn’t give you the right to talk down to other veterans. Because as a whole, veterans are last. The freakin IRS has majority of vets direct deposit info, and they could’ve reviewed our info from the get go at the beginning of March. But no, they chose to do it after all the other groups have been paid. Vets should be at the top of the list when it comes to sh#t like this. But like others have said vets are always last, and forgotten. Knowing the way the IRS and the VA is, they are probably looking for those who owe money to them so they can take are check. We always get fu#ked like that.

    • Jor April 13, 2021 at 12:53

Ya. You in your perfect world you fn moron by the way I can read, can you. Sorry my punctuation and sentence structure might not be up to par with some educated idiot like yourself.

  19. Henry Peña Jr April 1, 2021 at 08:06

Please help me, a former Marine with the stimulus pay ASAP! Respectfully, Henry Peña Jr., USMC

  20. nancy urban April 1, 2021 at 08:06

This is unacceptable, Veterans should be included in the April 7th wave of deposits. The IRS has al our info already from being sent over last week I heard 2 days before SS was sent in last Thursday. Get our deposits in this weekend, we are all federal beneficiaries. Some one stand up for us!! U read on CNET this morning Veterans are included now according to the IRS but not sure if it is true.

    • Rosario Burruel April 3, 2021 at 19:02

I agree with you, they say one thing and the next day its something different. I keep getting a feeling they are reviewing our info to see who owes them money so they can take our check. Iam a Iraq war vet with 80% disability and iam re-filling because for the past couple of years the VA has been misdiagnosing me only to find out I’ve had a tumor growing on my retina. I’ve had the worse migraines that last for days, I’ve lost my eye sight in my right eye, and I’ve been bleeding from my nose. It has been so hard trying to work to pay bills. And I know I’m not the only vet in a situation like this, and now they’re saying we have to wait longer for the stimulus check, which makes us the last group to be paid.

  21. Paula Earls April 1, 2021 at 07:39

    Still waiting on my SSDI

    • Sondra D Leal April 2, 2021 at 00:47

  22. Richard Melhorn April 1, 2021 at 06:56

The comment that Social Security recipients would automatically get stimulus payments is false. I received the first stimulus
payment and still have not received the second one, no one can tell me why. I have since filed 2020 tax return, even thought
I am not required to file a return. Still waiting for payments

  23. John F Joe April 1, 2021 at 04:54

Veteran. Who only live on the checks from government always last on list even trying to get help like we don’t eat and have to paid bills and people always look up to us for help Army Strong baby.

  24. Robert Patterson April 1, 2021 at 04:39

The Government stopped caring about it’s Veterans after the Korean war, anything to do with Veterans now is like cake, put a little frosting on it, a splash of decoration and it doesn’t matter to the public what sht they put inside, as long as it looks or sounds good. Fewer Politicians have served and most of those left that served have sold out or given up the idea that they can make changes to the system. Americans have largely fallen asleep thinking that the Government can and/or will care for them, Patriotism isn’t taught in schools any longer, in fact not much of anything that resembles what used to be America is taught in schools anymore. Our Government has become so corrupted because people are to lazy to bother thinking for themselves, it’s so much easier to blame our problems on someone else, that way we never have to accept that we are the problem. As a whole we continue to vote the same morons into office term after term, even though we are fully aware that they are corrupt and care only about the next vote, the next pay raise, and anything they can steal from the American people along the way.
There will be no significant change until We The People wake up and make the changes by putting an end to the current Political System, term limits, PAC money, Campaign Donation limits including putting an end to contributions from foreign Governments and foreign Companies. Put America and Americans first in our Schools and Businesses, truly Honor and help our Veterans and stop trading our Freedoms for a false sense of security.

  25. Mike Dooley April 1, 2021 at 04:31

I just got a quadruple bypass open heart surgery approved at a prestigious community cardiac care center. I can wait a little longer for my stimmy check. An attitude of gratitude makes sense, methinks.

  26. Michael Francis Clark Sr. April 1, 2021 at 04:21

Got my first stimulus check two weeks after approval by direct deposit. Got my second check 3 days after approval, yet a lot of folks waited a month or more to get their check. I honestly feel good that the IRS is thinking about the folks in the back of the line this time and I really don’t mind being placed in the back of the line so others have the opportunity to receive their stimulus early for a change, it’s the right way in a democracy! “You Go America”!

  27. Jack D Ellenburg April 1, 2021 at 03:49

Honestly, I had to say this, and thought I never would, but all the grandstanding about getting the Check on the third round turns out to be about as bad as it gets when it comes to the honesty of those who work for our government… The guessing, and promising and hey y’all stuff it is coming –makes no sense… Sad — posting dates it will be released goes on and on, and the wording on the IRS get my payment has a third grade level of comprehension — but, as always, the government is always right. It is not the money it is the process of which this has been handled on the third round…. Make me doubt the very people who we trust to take care of the American people..

  28. PAUL J PEISEL April 1, 2021 at 03:42

STANDING UP FOR US? WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT ONE…..

  29. Kenneth Banks April 1, 2021 at 03:19

America the world is shocked in one year we have let friends and foes alike see the ugliness that we have denied exist while we point out all the hatred in the rest of the world. Trump gets away clean democracy is a slogan

  30. Jeremy T Freeman April 1, 2021 at 02:31

I think that’s TOTAL B.S. That the Veterans (The Ones that actually fight for our Freedom, and Rights are getting the Stimulus Checks last, and I Hope and Pray that that’s Not True, cuz They ALL Deserve to get the Checks FIRST, Cuz of what They ALL do for each and Every American Citizen Each and EVERY DAY!!! Both of my Grandfather’s are gone now, but They Both were in the Wars, and They Both Loved America!!! So Thank You to ALL of the People that are in any of the Civil Services, and for what you ALL DO For ALL of us Americans!!!!
    Thank you N’ God Bless,
    Jeremy

  31. Fed up!!! April 1, 2021 at 01:35

Veteran’s last?! Wow that’s just sad to say the least. Add to that, the irs stimulus tracker is not accurate. As well, the usps mail tracker is not accurate and I confirmed at my local post office. IRS is never available, I needed to create an account and the site says my email is already in the system. I never used it before and I cannot get any tax updates. I have yet to receive my Federal for the past 4 years. I have yet to receive my stimulus, system says mailed out last week and still no mail at all for over a week.

Now because the system failed to be proactive against fraudulent claims, Veteran’s and families are still awaiting payments…smh

    • Cynthia Turner April 1, 2021 at 09:08

I agree with others about how the VET’S are always being put last. I’m a widow of a Vet. and it really is tough when I have to wait, and be the last one to receive any of the stimulus benefits. It truly makes me wonder just how much appreciation is sincere. My husband served this country PROUDLY and after 2 terms in the Navy and he was expecting his family to be taken care of. Even when he passed away, I was ask where i would like for his military plack to be placed. His military plack after 20 yrs STILL HASN’T BEEN PLACED.

  32. JOHN E FOSTER April 1, 2021 at 01:33

Last in line thanks to Biden. Trump got us the first three checks pretty quick.

Biden and his crew don’t seem to like retirees and Vets. Trump used our Social Security payment info to get us the cash fast. Biden needs to re-invent everything so we get to wait. “Absolutely absurd” is spot on.

  33. Hyter Alexander April 1, 2021 at 01:16

I agree with Edward Manns and Charles Goodman. Veterans are the first in line to defend and protect this country, but it appears that we have to be the last in line to receive stimulus checks. Veterans suffer just as many and even more hardships as most citizens and our need is as urgent as everyone else. It looks like the VA avocates forgot to stand up for us on this one.

  34. Harold Eugene Stark April 1, 2021 at 00:55

I am not nearly as concerned with not receiving the Stimulus Check to date as I am on not receiving the Covid 19 vaccine from the VA. I have received the second dose of Moderna last Saturday locally but where was the VA in taking care of us veterans.

Something seems to have changed with VA Care since January as lab tests are not scheduled now prior to Primary Care, RX prescriptions have been erratic in sending them out, etc.

I have been extremely satisfied with VA Care the past 25-30 years but am starting to get concerned.

  35. Howard kelly April 1, 2021 at 00:46

I haven’t got any stimulus checks ! Why??

  36. Francis M. Ciancarelli April 1, 2021 at 00:34

2-year old Veteran – Got my 2nd Pfizer Riser COVID19 Vaccine, two Mondays ago. Ready to CRUISE in AUGUST 2021…

  37. Randall Walter March 31, 2021 at 23:58

Thank you Charles for speaking up!
Now I have the currage to say something too. I agree, Veterans are last in line, but the first to be called back when needed. Even I was contacted with the statement that I will only receive $600.00 for my stimulus money, apparently due to payments in 2020 which was the same as other Veterans. Wasn’t the new stimulus first signed into law on March 11, 2021? Then why do some Veterans get less now?

  38. Wayne Allen Esterkamp March 31, 2021 at 23:47

They tryin to include as many independent’s as can, but should’ve already been done, flip it an reverse it…

  39. verne lynn young March 31, 2021 at 23:46

I retired at age 62 needed the money-don’t have savings any more – only get a few dollars over $3 hundred month. hard to live on – the streets very scary for me now almost 70 years old. this is all I have to live on. the stimulus does help. I asked social security many times if I can get a pay increase of benefits they never help me…they never reply.

  40. JULIE A. MADARANG March 31, 2021 at 23:33

iam A VA BENEFICIARY.. DEPENDENT INDEMNITY COMPENSATION, THANKS FOR I AM NEXT IN LINE TO RECEIVED STIMULOS PANDEMIC PAYMENT.

  41. Sharon Godin Breingan March 31, 2021 at 23:19

It’s such a sad ,sad scenario!! These man & women put they’re life’s on a line, never knowing from one day to another. And this is the gratification they get ? I seriously don’t know what happened to human compassion these days. Either way in my opinion they should of been the very first ones to receive the stimulus checks. I just want to say to all the Veterans thank you for your service. And hope that the wait won’t be to much longer. God Bless “

  42. Virginia Weber March 31, 2021 at 23:10

I’m on social security, 80 years old, worked since I was 14 until I was 70 years old, a widow of a Viet Nam Vet, get a small payment from VA, direct deposit for both. But I’m last in line for a stimulus payment that I desperately need!! What the HELL?

    • Dave Albert April 2, 2021 at 19:42

As a 100% US Combat Disabled Nam Vet, I know the frustration you’re feeling. About 2 months before I was medically discharged from the US Army way back in 1971, I learned then that EVERY US Vet that has any need or assistance to work with the VA to respond to critical questions & concerns related to their time in any of the US Military Branches of Service, that the VA is the SECOND CONTACT they should call for any VA related problems or concerns.
The Vets FIRST CONTACT should be to at least (1) of the many Military Organizations that will serve (FREE OF CHARGE !) as that Vet’s Spokesperson/Legal Representative/Advocate for any VA related issues or concerns for that Vet. The VFW is the most well known Veteran’s Organization among others that offer this invaluable assistance. My choice was the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to represent me. Take note that a Vet DOES NOT have to be a DISABLED VET to be a member of the DAV. The Spouse of any US Vet can also become a member of the DAV or the “DAV Auxiliary” for the Vet’s Spouse.
No matter which Vet Organization you may choose to represent You, It’s VERY important that you know the (8) digit VA File Number of your Veteran Husband that was given by the VA at the start for any VA Claim which remains the same for any VA File Number.

I Wish You Well as your case gets the ATTENTION THAT BOTH YOU & YOUR U.S. VETERAN SPOUSE SHOULD ALWAYS DESERVE FROM THE VA & THE US GOVERNMENT.

  43. Jon Cropsey March 31, 2021 at 23:02

The IRS probably makes a lot of $$ on the intrest.

  44. Thomas Allen March 31, 2021 at 22:54

I do not think that the US has a priority plan for any situation. I agree that a priority plan should be created. I believe the veterans should be on top of the list anyway — not surprised with the current situation.

  45. Ralph Wayne Brown March 31, 2021 at 22:32

I am a Viet Nam Era Vet. I agree Shame on all involved. Waited 6 months at Casa Grande VA Clinic for hearing exam that was long overdue. Waiting 4 weeks for new hearing aides to be done. In the meantime the replacement temporary Hearing Aides they gave me one broke and does not work, Went to the clinic. Said “Sorry no walk ins and the tech is 3 weeks behind.” I bagged and left my hearing aides in hopes they will call. Nothing yet. It would take them less than 5 mins to fix my hearing aides. They didn’t care….5 yrs ago in Saginaw MI went to clinic. After a year of Physical Therapy I finally see the Neuro Surgeon in Ann Arbor MI. They told me, “Sorry the muscles in your left hand and arm have atrophied and rendered them useless if you had come when it first started we could HAVE DECOMPRESSED THE NERVES IN YOUR NECK AND YOUR ARM AND HAND WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE BUT you WAITED TOO LONG…. I TOLD THEM i HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR TO SEE THEM… They said sorry.

So being Last to receive the 1400 dollar crumbles last, doesn’t surprise me, The VA really took care of me…Oh they are bound and determined to get me off of the opioids but have offered nothing that works to relieve the constant pain. Partially disabled Viet Nam Vet

  46. Alan B. Copeman March 31, 2021 at 22:23

I agree. We fought for this country and we are the last to be paid. I seen a lot of people who sent in there tac return and get there $1,400. Both my nieces got there’s. One has there kids at $1,400 for each one. Well, I know slot of veterans have got there yet. I make a suggestion that the Federal Government get it together. Remember, We the people.

  47. Janet M Acocella March 31, 2021 at 22:22

The previous stimulus payments were direct deposited. The IRS and Treasury Dept had info. People on SSI got direct deposit the day after President Biden signed the bill. Dead people received a check through the mail already. SHAME SHAME SHAME
    Somebody should loose thier job.

  48. John M Guevara March 31, 2021 at 22:19

Service to our country came fist, why are we last?

  49. Carolyn Walls March 31, 2021 at 22:18

I think it is totally unfair that the lowest income people are the last get the help they need espcially the vets my husband is a vet and he is waiting to see if he even gets one. I feel for you.

  50. Robert Smith March 31, 2021 at 21:49

The government is a joke and our blank check means nothing the modern military will be screwed when they get discharged too

  51. Shane Snyder March 31, 2021 at 21:25

How can I get eyeglasses through the military? I’m retired with va benefits but don’t use them.

  52. Vic Glaviano March 31, 2021 at 21:24

I didn’t get my 2nd or 3rd stimulus checks, I am a DV who’s been unemployed since February 2020. I work and pay taxes, I don’t sit around and try to get unemployability and SSI. What is my reward… This, get what everyone else gets last, after I’m already behind 2 months on my house. I don’t ask for anything other than everyone else as a veteran, but this is how I’m repaid after losing my marriage, physical and mental health from the scars of combat… Thank you for your service!

[Editor: There is a section in the story above with instructions for people who didn’t get the previous round.]

  53. Tim Byrd March 31, 2021 at 21:21

Not acceptable to leave Veterans till last!!! We were last the last time! By the time we get our stimulus it will be a full month after every one else. A full month!!!

If there is a next time weVeterans need to first and put SS & Disability next and everyone else last that got it first all the other times. Im hurting for it. I needed it 2 weeks ago. Fire the Trump holdover desk jockeys that did this!

  54. David Holland March 31, 2021 at 20:55

I find this very helpful and informative for many of my questions on many V.A. as well as other government issues thank you

  55. Jocelyne Ladion Young March 31, 2021 at 20:53

    Survivor spouse beneficiary for only
    $ 1,357 dollars per month.

  56. Gary Gauthier March 31, 2021 at 20:30

No surprise here still trying to get agent orange benefits. Wrong type of cancer. The type they pay for you can get playing golf.

  57. Thomas Anthony Weir March 31, 2021 at 20:29

I agree with Edward and Charles! I’m tired of hearing “We take care of our Veterans!”
I haven’t been able to see my PC in person, or have VA dental work done in over a year! The same for my VA foot doctor!

  58. Ken March 31, 2021 at 20:16

We still have not been issued a formal apology for being called “SUCKERS”!!!!!

  59. Bobbie G Cray March 31, 2021 at 20:15

We need our payment as well as the other.

  60. Krikor ESTEPAN Markarian272 March 31, 2021 at 20:13

I hear you. But after living abroad for the past ten years, you come to appreciate that this is still the best country. I’d serve again, if they’d take me in any role.
They don’t get it right many times, but it’s better than what I’ve exposed to.

  61. Darren Kyles March 31, 2021 at 20:12

For a country that has depended on us to maintain the freedoms we have all enjoyed throughout our history. You would think we would at very least, NOT be the last to be thought about in times like this. It is SHAMEFUL that we are not just last, but a distant last and still with no concrete date for receiving the EIP. SHAMEFUL and WRONG!

  62. Richard L Peterson March 31, 2021 at 19:58

It’s all bull Sht.where always last They don’t care.Only for there self.

  63. Paul Zickus March 31, 2021 at 19:54

Last in line and now I hear Harris wants to strip away more VA benefits!

  64. Steven W Shane March 31, 2021 at 19:47

I have never received the 600.00 yet.

[Editor: There’s information for you on how to claim it, up above in the blog story.]

  65. Michael L Good March 31, 2021 at 19:31

We proudly served our country when they needed us. Now that we need them, we are last in line. Shame on you all that are involved.

  66. Donna Chaney March 31, 2021 at 19:16

Get my payment doesn’t show a thing! My sister who is only on social security has already received her stimulus. If you had to wait to get the information from Social Security, how did you get her information?

  67. James Mocco March 31, 2021 at 19:06

Not sure exactly how true this is, but while I was Googling information on when I’d be getting my stimulus check, i came across a few websites (ranging from liberal-leaning to right-leaning, albeit worded differently) with articles saying that the reason Social Security, SSI, VA beneficiaries, and Railroad retirees–basically all who live off of federal funds of some kind–are being the last to get their stimulus because most bureaucracies are still run by Trump appointees, and either they’re playing politics with the Biden administration or the Biden administration is playing politics with them; if you ask me, they’re both playing politics rather than setting political disagreements aside for a little bit to help those in need. Either way, it’s a disgrace.

  68. Eliezer Montes March 31, 2021 at 18:50

Those who served, get served last.

  69. MARCUS H. CHERRY JR March 31, 2021 at 18:46

THIS DISABLED VIETNAM VETERAN NEVER RECEIVED ANY STIMULUS.

  70. BILL GAGNON March 31, 2021 at 18:44

I’M A VIET NAM VET AND THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT US THEN.

  71. William Moisson Sr. March 31, 2021 at 18:41

I think it’s despicable that federal and social security recipients are being made to wait in what looks like last on the list. Shows you their true priorities.

  72. Gay Allan Barnes March 31, 2021 at 18:37

I have been denied all the stimulus checks because IRS says someone claimed me as a dependent and the IRS won’t tell me who it is. The only person who could have claimed me as a dependent, has been dead for over 15 years. Besides, I’m 70 years old and no one supports me.

  73. Bobbie Bell March 31, 2021 at 18:36

You’re absolutely right. It’s totally absurd and ridiculous we veterans must be last to rreceive the stimulusl, again.THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! never meant much to ne. Now I know it means absolutely nothing. Just a way to break uncomfortabke silence when people don’t know what to say. This says to me F___k you one more time.

  74. Mike lee March 31, 2021 at 18:28

Its the people in office we didn’t vote for making decisions for the rest of our lives. Continue to expect nothing in return for the rest of our lives.

  75. Kent Coulter March 31, 2021 at 18:15

I was “poor” when I enlisted & reenlisted; still relatively poor 47 years later. The “poor” always get more stick than carrot.

  76. Raymond Richard Watts March 31, 2021 at 18:15

I think your article is a bit vague, but I appreciate the update. Thank you.

  77. William Propsner March 31, 2021 at 18:11

I am a USN veteran, 1971-1977. Trying to survive on social security. I did receive the 1st stimulus middle of last year, then the 2nd stimulus in January this year. Now according to some folks and the government, i should be getting this 3rd stimulus soon.
I have been checking my bank account and the ‘Get My Payment’ tool but always get the ‘we’re working on it’ message.
I do agree with one comment of ‘why are veterans always last’.
Anyway, with Obiden in office, we need the stimulus just to pay for the skyrocketting gas prices!
Sure would be nice to get it before the second coming.

God Bless all veterans and those now serving, thank you.
    William

  78. Charles harmon March 31, 2021 at 17:59

Not being political ,but the last president who signed checks got them out in a few weeks,,why not this guy(Biden)???

  79. Robert Dungan March 31, 2021 at 17:42

It does not surprise me that you non-veteran agitators are playing games even with the REPLY portion of this “report”. Duly Noted.

  80. Ricki March 31, 2021 at 17:33

    Ridiculous

  81. william bell March 31, 2021 at 17:24

Funny is I never received the Second one, and Nothing has Changed, what Baffles me, I’m a homeless disabled vet, fired for filing an EEO complaint, I’ve lost everything that I worked so hard to achieve, the individuals manger, superior, non Veterans, the manager had policemen sitting on standby, as if I was a crazy vet, no, did I mention that I’m a minority, my four sons that are serving hates the Lebanon, Pa VA!!

  82. Jasmine Pany March 31, 2021 at 17:22

Why are we the last in line when we’re first in line to fight for this nation? Some thanks we get.

  83. Andrew Saul March 31, 2021 at 17:20

The Get My Payment portal is the most useless tool I have ever seen. I have checked for myself, mother and 3 others whom asked me. During the 3 stimulus programs it has never had any information whatsoever. If you have DD and see it in the bank why would you go to the tool? The only info is for people whom are looking for a check and it tells you when sent. Today none of the SSA non-filers have any DD , check or information as to when and where. If you get DD and it is sent in a month that is when you will get the portal info. Before you are just a non known person according to the IRS. Checked at least 100 times and not once did it state anything other then nothing known.

  84. Patrick Anthony Larson March 31, 2021 at 17:19

I’m embarrassed about my country! The government is a joke. The IRS is inept. Is social security is without guidance and direction.
I was raised to behave myself in a proper manner, do my job as well as possible, and look out for and respect my fellow man. I served in the military in the early 70s. Back then, people in authority were mostly responsible and honest. Today, sadly to say, our country is circling the drain.

  85. marjorie palmatier March 31, 2021 at 17:14

Somebody has to be last on the list, right? It’s not such a long wait – payment in April. Additionally, I served my country without any expectations that I would be have a right to certain privileges – either active duty or after discharge.

  86. John E. Cornwell March 31, 2021 at 17:06

I second all the above comments.

  87. Edward M Manns March 31, 2021 at 16:19

Why last in line unless you need us.

  88. Charles G Goodman March 31, 2021 at 16:01

It’s absolutely absurd that veterans are last in line to get stimulus checks. Who’s standing up for us? We claim that we appreciate our veterans, well, action speaks louder than words. Shame on all involved!!!

    • Ricki March 31, 2021 at 17:32

      Agree

    • CrustyOldGeezer March 31, 2021 at 17:56

      bad capcha

      26×26= 3 digits

    • Abby Scicchitano March 31, 2021 at 18:54

      Right on.

    • don dubocq March 31, 2021 at 19:15

It’s very similar to Vets being denied a compensation claim over and over until the realization sets in that we’re at the bottom of the food chain

    • Mike Miller March 31, 2021 at 22:46

Thank you for your kind comments

    • Michael D Burns April 1, 2021 at 02:39

Not just veterans but also people with disabilities. We were already living in poverty before coronavirus. They obviously help people who don’t need the money first.

    • Steven Fields April 1, 2021 at 08:26

Yes first in the battle/defense.Last in consideration. This administration is all about talking the talk.Where is my stimulus check? Under Trump I had no problems getting a check or two.Why can’t Biden’s lousy Administration pull it’s head out of the sand?
