Economic Impact Payments disbursed to non-filer VA beneficiaries

I am a veteran of the United States Navy who served honorably on the USS Detroit from 1998 until being Other than Honorably discharged in 2000 for misconduct that haunts me till this day causing alot of issues to arise in my lifestyle and also my families, friends and children. The misconduct that was put on me, labeling me as a red flag, for any right or benefits; I worked and served hard to accomplish to have a better future for my family and children was flushed down the drain 21 years ago. Now my family, children and I are suffering with this label till this day. I lost alot since I made a simple mistake going back home to visit family who haven’t seen me for over 6 months; due to having to go overseas right after an extended stay in a mentally enhanced boot camp due to uncommon issues that I had to overcome as a young man straight out of high school. Disturbing issues from losing a child, mind, soul and spirit. To finding how to enter manhood, experience life, and enjoying independence. To having all that respect, love and honor tore away from you over a childish mistake of participating in an event that included family and friends, old and new; only to being belittled, frown upon and chastised by your new passion, family and group you fought to be part of that finally seen you as one of them a fellow brother and shipmate because you took one pull of a marijuana cigarette, that others with you also took part of that was fellow shipmates. But you were the only one who was randomly picked due to another’s shipmate’s timing which cause a group of us to make it back late and ending my career in the navy and starting a snowball affect of downfalls in my future with just one urinalysis. I been fighting still this day for a better change in my character and discharge upgrade, not just for me but my beautiful children also and my legacy. My father who was a Vietnam Veteran was killed by pneumonia in a VA medical facility in New York but was happy to be a soldier even though the war affected his marriage, lifestyle and being able to raise his children in the same household; he still was proud till the day he died in February 2006 proud to see his children follow his steps joining our US Military and proud of what we accomplished without benefiting the benefits that were meant for us. Joseph L Whitehead aka Rambo Joe was what he was called in Vietnam as an army soldier. And I dont want to lose the rest of that spirit him and my mother had empowered in us. With that being said as now a 40 year old HOMELESS VETERAN who has fought to maintain a lifestyle to survive for his children as my father and other parents did for their children; am screaming out loud from the depths of my soul to acquire some hands on, educating, empathetic and humbling HELP to get out of this situation of HOMELESSNESS, NONBENEFICIAL, AND UNINSURED lifestyle that I’ve and my family have been suffering for decades and more. Thank you family ahead of time because I know that GOD will allow the right one or ones to see this and help me JOEY L WHITEHEAD to overcome these obstacles I have been fighting to overcome allowing myself to be the one finally getting the well deserved help that he dished out to all those who were in need that he ran across, not hesitant to help no matter the situation, all his life growing up who are in good positions now with out him asking for nothing in return but acceptance, care, and being able to see success and happiness in others.

I was moved from SSDI to SSI on Feb 2, my 66th birthday. I got the first two direct deposit quick, “Where’s my Payment?” my arse. No updates, no answers, no one accepting phone calls.
