Applications are now open for the October 2021 2-day virtual program that mentors future entrepreneurial leaders. Patriot Boot Camp is partnering with Berkeley College to help the military community grow more tech startups.

Are you a service member, Veteran, or military spouse entrepreneur who wants to learn how to start and grow your business? According to the Small Business Administration, Veteran-owned businesses represent 9.1% of American owned businesses. Studies show that Veterans tend to out-earn non-Veteran entrepreneurs.

Patriot Boot Camp, a 501(c)3, is providing a 2-day virtual fall program presented by Berkeley College on October 14-15, 2021.

Including those overseas

“For the first time in our 9-year history, Patriot Boot Camp will also be recruiting from OCONUS (overseas). Service members, military spouses, and Veteran entrepreneurs who are thinking about starting a business or currently have a new start-up are ideal candidates for this program,” said Jennifer Pilcher, CEO and 2013 alumna of the PBC organization. “We are thrilled to provide this opportunity to those currently serving overseas who normally would not be able to travel to an in-person boot camp.”

Only 50 slots available, apply now

Patriot Boot Camp will accept 50 participants for the program and provide educational programming, world-class speakers, resources and subject matter experts who will deliver individual mentoring sessions.

“Berkeley College has a longstanding commitment to the welfare and success of military students, Veterans, and their families,” said Diane Recinos, vice president of Student Success at Berkeley College. “We are excited to partner with Patriot Boot Camp to ensure their future success in entrepreneurial ventures.”

One has to wonder… Where did the millions of dollars disappear to, that the VA saved when NOT helping most Veteran’s during the year + COVID lockdown? How big a dollar raise did the Democrat appointed Director of the VA AND his many high echelon buddies get this year??? They have reduced veteran care, time and time again! No extra pair of glasses, diabetic lancets and test strips to “ONCE EVERY OTHER DAY”!!!. 4 months wait for optometry, dental, etc. Can’t afford to pay for enough doctors to care for us. The FACT is… most disabled vets think they are being treated by qualified medical DOCTORS in Primary Care… but they are REALLY being treated by lower level NURSES!!! NOT DOCTORS!! And no, it is NOT as good level of care! If nurses were indeed as qualified as doctors, what the heck do we even NEED doctors in the world for?! Hmmmm?… We disabled vets made a contract with Congress when we enlisted!!! An ENFORCIBLE contract. We were guaranteed the BEST care AVAILABLE!… Not what’s left after the VA Director and his buddies fatten their personal bank accounts!
Oh yeah, and that “free to go to outside providers” is pure bunk! Disabled Vets CAN go to an outside optometrist… for the exam ONLY! Then the VA makes us jump through HOOPS to get an appointment to get the actual glasses through THEIR eyeglass contractor! The underhanded self enrichment of the VA upper echelon is much worse than most realize!
It is time for a class action move against these mis-managers of the Veterans Affairs Department!!!

You lost credibility when you pointed your finger at a political party in your second sentence. Stop muddying the waters with politics. You’re just feeding the machine that has been the root of evil, since the start of American government.

A complete waste of time. I read 4 pages of content and still have no idea how to win the truck.

    This just pisses veterans off.

As a retiree of the US Army, I appreciate the services of the VA. As a disabled veteran, I also appreciate the concurrent payment of VA disability pay as well as retired pay from DFAS.

I am absolutely ready to take my business idea all the way and I believe this is just what I need! I am a 100% Disabled Army Veteran. I’m working with my son on a program/business that focuses on all fishing in the state of Maine! FishMe:Freshwater fishing is our start hoping to move through each state and encourage veterans and everyone to get out fishing through tournaments, gear, blogs and just connecting the fishing community. Thank you
