The program enables VA to solve two issues: affordable, permanent housing for homeless Veterans and their families and the surplus of idle or underused VA property in communities across the United States.
“I’ve been a social worker for 30 years and I’ve never experienced a case like this,” said Atlanta VA Medical Center Social Worker Patrice Green.
