Each year the VA’s National Veterans Outreach Office, in conjunction with the Veterans Day National Committee, publishes a commemorative Veterans Day poster.
VA was honored to lead the country in honor Veterans by holding observances across the nation throughout the month of November.
The Central Alabama Health Care System kicked off its Veterans Day Parade Thursday honoring all Veterans – including 97-year-old Tuskegee Airman Oscar C. Gadson Jr. who served as the parade’s grand marshal.
This year marked the 35th anniversary of the memorial and a reading of the names has been held every five years.
We are grateful for every Marine, Soldier, Airman, Coast Guardsman, and Sailor that has served our nation. On behalf of a grateful nation, thank you.
